Trade rockets can provide Terra Tokens (the game's currency, symbol TT) and blueprints or useful and rare items. They can also contribute to one method of completing the game.
You can find Terra Tokens in chests around the world but much more frequently in wrecks and procedural wrecks through the portal. You can also craft or find items to sell - load the items you want to sell into the rocket, select what you want to buy, launch the rocket and wait for it to come back with Terra Tokens (which go instantly into your account) and selected items to be unloaded. If you have drones, you can automatically send items from your storage to the trade rocket to be sold.
