Planet Crafter: Planet Humble - Oxygen Stage

Sea of Fog (32 GTi)

I was looking for larvae in the Underworld when I reached the Breathable Atmosphere stage at 32 GTi. I was near the Sea of Fog entrance to the Underworld and saw the fog was lifting. I looked out from the cliff and was amazed at the changes. The Sea is rising and I can see the pillars where I ran out of air before. Time to go exploring again!

Fiorente butterfly larva (pink)

Lorpen butterfly larva (blue)

I found several types of butterfly larvae near the research station in the Sea of Fog; Serena (blue, 1200% insects multiplier), Fiorente (pink, 600% insects multiplier) and Lorpen (blue, 600% insects multiplier). I'll have to build some more butterfly domes until I can get some butterfly farms.

The ferry terminal building was flooded. The Underworld river was pouring out of the entrance to the Sea of Fog, creating a waterfall, and there was a cave underneath with a green Starform Robotics crate.

Sea of Fog Purple Pillars

Purple Pillars launch platform

I followed the cliffs south of the Volcano and came to some large rock pillars with purple plants growing around them. There was some buildings in the distance too, including an animal research lab (with T1 animal food and animal genetic traits!) and a launch platform. Records suggest that the Sentinel Corps employee felt some remorse for what they did to the drones, but they were just doing their job.

Sea of Fog Donut Island

Drone DR23

After exploring the Purple Pillars, my bag was full and I was getting low on food. On my next expedition, I head to the Donut Island in the middle of the Sea of Fog. There is a climbing vine that goes to the top of the top of the island where drone DR23 says that this area will one day be the most pleasant part of the planet and they're going to wait there for drone DR04 to join them. Awww!

Crystal Valley (Barren Stage)

Crystal Valley (Breathable Atmosphere Stage)

I was exploring, looking for more pulsar quartz to make power generators, teleporters and nuclear power cells, when I came to the Crystal Valley. The crystals used to be dark purple but now they're bright blue! I didn't find any new resources or secret areas, so I kept going.

Inside Obsidian Cave

Climbing vine to Volcano ledge

I got to the Obsidian Cave (which I barely explored before because of needing air and food), and I found some drones crushed by a landslide and crates with some good stuff. My bags were full, but I headed into the Volcano anyway. There was a climbing vine I hadn't seen before that took me up to a ledge with a drone. Further along the ledge was a crate with some quartz. Any more? Indeed! The ledge took me to a small cave with another damaged drone and a green Starform Robotics crate of goodies!

Golden butterfly larva (Sea of Fog)

Alben butterfly larva (Sea of Fog)

I unlocked the drone station, but that also needs pulsar quartz to craft it. A pulsar quartz meteor or two would probably help a lot, but I haven't seen any of them yet. I returned to the Sea of Fog - maybe there are some crates I didn't open or loot? I found a golden butterfly larva (1500% insect multiplier) near the research station, then a couple on the large rocks near the green starship. I also found a couple of black Alben butterfly larvae (700% insect multiplier) near the Donut Island in the middle of the Sea of Fog.

Pulsar Quartz meteor

Drone station

I brought the larvae back to the main base and nearly got hit by a pulsar quartz meteor! That was at around 75 GTi. It must be my lucky day; I collected enough pulsar quartz to make a nuclear fusion generator and the drone station (which is fortunate because the drone station requires A LOT of power). I started off building 5 drones, but I will want many, many more. Now I have to go through all my production machines and storage containers and set the supply and demand.

I sent up a bunch of rockets to boost everything then unlocked the water life collector which will allow me to start collecting phytoplankton and fish eggs. I put the first one in the Osmium Cave. There is a T2 Map Information Rocket which will probably tell me where fish eggs can be collected, but I'd like to search by myself a bit first. In the meantime, I will need to add another level to my main base for fish.
